Formative Assessments

Formative assessments encourage higher order thinking across the curriculum.  They help guide teaching & learning by checking for understanding along the way.  The results are used to differentiate instruction to meet the individual needs of our students.  Here are some great classroom resources!

Interactive Classroom Board

Such an adorable idea!
I would have the children create "I Can" messages for the petals based on what we have been working on in class.

So much fun!  Kahoot allows teachers to design web-based interactive quizzes that are based on the specific COMMON CORE STANDARDS and individual skills for his/her class.
